I remember having a meeting that day with Jason Ritchie the Executive Pastor of Creative Arts at Crossroads Church in Vancouver, WA. As that meeting ended and we started making our way out of the office, Jason looked at me and said, Martin follow me this way, I want to introduce you to someone. We walked down the hallway and then into a music studio room and there was Brandon Bee producing and working on an album project. It’s been about two years now, on that day I met Brandon for the first time. Since then, I have come to know him through his music ministry as someone who is not only an incredibly talented and gifted worship leader, music producer, and songwriter with a passion and calling for music, but he is someone who has an even greater heart for God, for His people, and for worship leaders here in the Northwest. Today, Brandon and his family currently make their home in Tri-Cities where he also serves as the worship pastor at Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities.

Album Review

I am pleased to write an album review piece on Artist Brandon Bee's latest album "Songs From The Sky" which was released this past June 2, 2017. This is also Brandon's fourth solo album and let me just say, be ready to be blessed and encouraged as worship leader Brandon shares his heart in these seven wonderfully written songs.
From the very first song you can't help but be captivated by beautiful synth pads, vibrant vocals, and a worshipful heart that draws you into the story being shared on this album. Its sound and feel is the creative blend of praise and worship and some alternative rock. If I could compare Brandon's sound on this album to other artists out there, I would have to say, a blend of Anberlin and Charlie Hall. Each song on this album is poetically crafted and honestly expressed. I have to say my two favorite songs are, “Your Name Says It All”, a song that invites us to remember and embrace once again the goodness and the splendor of who Jesus is in us and all around us. My other favorite song is “Remain” which helps us see the beautiful dance between our broken humanity and God’s desire to embrace us with his unconditional love, mercy, and grace. After listening to the entire album, I walked away uplifted, challenged, and filled with hope.
Also, this album contains more than just great music; it provides a fresh perspective on Christianity, the character of God, while encouraging us towards an authentic relationship with Jesus. It proclaims the good news of love, mercy and hope to all and is filled with powerful truth that has the power to set captives free and comfort the broken hearted.
So, if you haven't yet, I want to encourage you to purchase a copy of “Songs From The Sky” and help support this incredible music ministry of Brandon Bee. And if your church is all about partnering with and showing support to ministries that truly are making a difference for kingdom of God here in the Northwest, I can attest that Brandon is one of those individuals and ministries that is doing just that.
